This sucks. As far as I’m concerned, trains win every time. Something you understand if you’ve enjoyed watching the changes in landscape while comfortably sitting at a window, or fallen asleep in one city to wake up at passport control, or crossed mountain ranges or followed a river, on your way to meeting/hugging/frenching a loved one on the platform.
